Architecture essays require you to move between visual, spatial, and theoretical registers. A building critique that only describes formal qualities without situating them within the architect's broader programme, the theoretical debates of the period, or the social and cultural conditions of production will not achieve a high mark in a rigorous architecture school.
Our architecture mentors hold MArch and PhD degrees from architecture schools including the Bartlett (UCL), Edinburgh, Bath, and Sheffield. They cover both historical and contemporary architecture, theory, sustainability, and urbanism.
We support written essays in architectural history and theory, design critique texts, urban analysis reports, sustainability assessments, technical literature reviews, and dissertation chapters. We work alongside your studio practice, our role is the written academic work.
